Xc90 Stop start issue
I have a recent issue with my stop start no longer working in my 2018. I don't care about that specifically, but I am worried about the underlying cause.
I took it in to the dealer and they tested both batteries and they came back at 100% healthy which I'm skeptical of. They didn't seem interested in figuring out the root cause. I've been looking into it further with v-tool and I see two things. 1) my state of charge when running is around 60% which I think would inhibit start/stop based on what I've read and 2) the car thinks my main battery is over 8 years old. The car is new to me and I have no record of the main battery being changed. It appears to be an oem battery. The support battery is a Duracell brand so it got changed at some point.
Are there any other checks I can do with something like v-tool before spending 400$ on a battery? I have Vida setup but my subscription has lapsed. Can I see the specific reason start/stop is inhibited or any more information about the battery if I'm on Vida?
There doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the climate system for example, but I'd like to try to rule that out as a potential cause.
