Ok so ive been on this thread a few times in the past. It was mostly political arguments when the city council elections were going. Im saying this bc maybe some of you recognize my username and disagreed with me, which is fine its a free country. Im an independent and agree/disagree with certain things on the right and left. But i find myself agreeing more with conversative views. Not everything example being abortion among others. But I understand most people here dont align with me which is fine, but right now im not here to argue politics. Im here to discuss cost of living in our medford area and surrounding cities/ towns.
If u can get past political views, i want honest opinions from medford people on what i should do as a 25 year old, currently having no choice but to still live at home w my parents, but i also having a decent paying 65k a year job making 30 an hour. I work for a dpw but without saying where its not medford dpw but a close neighboring city. I turn 26 in december and dont want to still live at home when i currently do all my own laundry, dishes, trash, and everything else that are skills to live on your own, but cant. I went blue collar after highschool so never lived on my own for more than maybe 2 weeks. I also work lots of overtime so 65k sometimes turns in 75-maybe 80k or more, but still feels impossible. Want honest opinions from local residents. Whether home owners, apartment, renting, condo, anything
