At least on my AMC app, it’s showing North by Northwest in the upcoming events with an October 8 release date

I bought this during the recent Kino Lorber sale even though I’d never seen it. Not a perfect movie but the protagonist is so morally bankrupt and this is like a Nightcrawler of its time period. Just a fun, nasty little picture that is worth a watch if you’ve never seen it before

Didn’t really see many people discuss this gem of a film during the B&N sale. A classic of both noir and heist movies. Jules Dassin does amazing work as a director but his work as an actor here is top tier as well. I love Michael Mann films and you have do think this movie influenced him greatly. If you’ve never seen this and like crime and heist movies, do yourself a favor and check it out
