I own a 2024 Ford Escape PHEV. When a vehicle is detected in my blind spot, the warning light in the side mirror illuminates normally. If I activate the turn signal toward that side while the vehicle is still in my blind spot, the warning light flashes rapidly, but there is no audible warning or chime.
I observed the same behavior on a 2026 Ford Bronco Big Bend.
Is this normal operation for Ford’s BLIS system, or is there a software/module update available that adds an audible warning when the turn signal is activated while a vehicle is detected in the blind spot?

Recently i got the 2025 ford escape and the sync software is continuously disconnecting apple CarPlay although my phone is connected and charging, Rear camera’s view overlay guidelines are disappearing sometimes, sometimes the entire dashboard blank/ stuck when i start the car.

And also I have noticed when i turn the car off and stay in the car for sometime without locking the car immediately , i heard some clicking kind off noise from front of the car and this noise is frequent only in this scenario and it was observed on 2024 escape phev and also on 2025 escape.

Anyone had similar experiences with escape?

My escape gave “ stop safely now” warning when i start the car and none of the controls were working . So i turned the car off and turn it back on. Check engine light came on and ford app gave notification that my 12v battery is low try charging the car but everything is working with the car. I charged the High voltage battery and drove for couple days check engine-light went off.

I went to my nearby dealership for diagnostics they said they found an issue with High-voltage battery and it’s been 2 days so far sitting at dealership.

Anyone had similar experience?
