Step 1: Account Creation & Activation

‼️ Note for 🇺🇸 USA Players: The Capycraft website often blocks US IP addresses. If you are in the US, you might have to use a VPN for this step. Set the region to Asia for guaranteed results.

‼️ You will NOT need the VPN to actually play the game.

1. Connect your VPN (if you are US-based).

2. Go to the Capycraft Website.

3. Click the green button on the right side of the page to sign up.

4. Fill out the registration fields and check both boxes at the bottom (confirming you are 18+ and agreeing to the server rules).

> Field #1: Your login username

> Field #2: Your account email

> Field #3: Your password

> Field #4: Confirm your password

5. You will receive an activation email entirely in Chinese. Keep your VPN on for this step if you needed one earlier & click the link inside it to activate your account.

You DO NOT need to verify the account to log into the game. That said, it is recommended to do so such that you can manage your account going forward.

Step 2: Game Client Setup

📢 If you ALREADY have a 1.18.1 Turtle WoW Client:

1. Navigate to your Turtle WoW folder where WoW.exe is located.

2. Find and open the file named realmlist.wtf using a text editor (like Notepad).

3. Delete the current text and replace it with exactly this:

> SET realmList "apac.capycraft.io"

> SET patchList "apac.capycraft.io"

4. Save and close the file.

5. Right-click realmlist.wtf and select Properties, check the Read-only box and click Apply. This stops the launcher from wiping your changes when you launch the game.

📢 If you DO NOT have a 1.18.1 Turtle WoW Client:

Step 3: Engine Fixes & Tweeks

1. Vanilla Fixes. (Preferably the DXVK version). Extract the ZIP into the game's directory, where WoW.exe is located. From now on, boot the game using VanillaFixes.exe.

2. Nampower (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). This helps immensely in mitigating lag between abilities. Extract the ZIP then ONLY put the Nampower.dll file into the game's directory. The loader.exe can be discarded.

Step 4: Display Chinese Fonts (Optional)

1. Download the font files from here

2. Navigate to the game's directory & create a new folder called Fonts.

3. Move the files you have downloaded into the newly created Fonts folder.

Additional steps will need to be taken if you're using PFUI. Check the discord for more info.

Step 5: JOIN THE ENGLISH CHANNEL!

Bypass the level requirements of General chat & join a like-minded community with exclusively English speakers. Just type /Join English in game. The more people, the better!
