Twisted Wonderland “What If..” Scenarios

Sometimes I like to look at ”What if..” scenarios for Harry Potter and thought it’d be interesting to think of some for Twisted Wonderland. It‘s interesting to think about how certain changes could have a big impact on the story! I tried to think of a ”What if” for each book. Feel free to post your own “What ifs” or disagree with my thoughts on my “What ifs“

I welcome different opinions!

  1. >!What if Ace wasn’t sorted into Heartslabyul?!<

My thoughts: >!I think Riddle would still eventually overblot but it could be much later! !<

  1. >!What if Leona actually killed Ruggie during book 2?!<

My thoughts: >!I felt so bad for Ruggie when Leona tried to kill him and insulted him! It infuriated me! I think Leona would feel guilty if he actually went through with it though. Even more than he does in book 3 !<

  1. >!What if the teachers threatened to kick Azul out of school if he doesn’t stop trapping peers in contracts?!<

My thoughts: >!I’m not sure about this one. Maybe Azul would keep making them in secret or he would be so stressed about having to choose between his model student reputation and his valued contracts that it’d cause him to overblot sooner. Maybe he’d still try to bargain with the teachers even after being threatened with expulsion. !<

  1. >!What if Jamil was honest with Kalim about his feelings before book 4?!<

My thoughts: >!I think he should‘ve done this. I can emphasize with why he felt like he couldn’t but a lot of conflict could‘ve been avoided if he just had an honest conversation with Kalim !<

  1. >!What if Vil actually killed Neige in book 5?!<

My thoughts: >!I think this would haunt Vil for the rest of his life and he’d feel terrible about it. It’s best for everyone, Vil included, that he was stopped in time. !<

  1. >!What if Idia found a way to break his curse besides opening the underworld? Would he change at all?!<

My thoughts: >!I don‘t think he’d change much. He’d be a more powerful mage since the blot curse is gone but he’s never been that interested in that. I think he’d be somewhat relieved at not having to work for Styx though.!<

  1. >!What if Malleus mobilized Briar Valley‘s resources in order to help Yuu get home?!<

My thoughts: >!Since Briar Valley is home to ancient magic knowledge that most still don’t understand, perhaps they might be able to offer a unique perspective on Yuu‘s situation. This could be really useful in Yuu’s investigation. !<

Do you think your favorite characters would eventually want kids? Why or why not?

I was just thinking about how the characters would be as dads and if they’d want kids. Here is what I think in terms of if my top 5 favorite characters would want to become fathers in the future. I welcome different opinions!

Would they want kids?

  1. Kalim: Absolutely! He’d be a great father! I bet he’d always give his kids unconditional love and support!

  2. Vil: Yep! I can see him being a loving father just like his own! While he might be strict, he would still be a good dad

  3. Grim: No! I think he’d be exhausted trying to raise a kitten/baby monster lol

  4. Riddle: Not sure because he’s still trying to figure out what he wants in life and find himself

  5. Azul: I don’t think so. I think he’d mainly want to focus on his career after graduating. His businesses are his babies

Describing your favorite Twisted Wonderland characters as the opposite of who they are

Can you describe your favorite Twisted Wonderland characters by describing them as the exact opposite of who they are? This is just for fun! Here are my favorite Twisted Wonderland characters described as the opposite of how they are.

  1. A selfish, introverted boy who is mean to everyone. He doesn’t care about his friends at all and hates parties.

  2. A timid, clumsy boy who is a complete slob. He always blends into the background. Many consider him Absolutely Ugly.

  3. A shy creature who never causes any trouble. He lacks confidence and is really mindful about what he eats.

  4. A tall boy who is calm but rebellious. He never studies and does whatever he feels like doing without thinking of the consequences.

  5. A naive but athletic boy who is super bad at managing money. He is really honest, underachieving and gets taken advantage of a lot.

What character’s family members would you most like to meet?

l hope Kalim’s parents show up sometime! I’ve seen a lot of different theories about what they’re like. It’d be interesting to see which ones are true. Also, Kalim is my favorite and I want to learn more about that precious cinnamon roll’s lore. I‘d also like to meet Ruggie’s grandma and anyone from Azul’s family!

Who’s your favorite event-exclusive character?

Do you have a favorite event-exclusive character? So far my favorite is Najma Viper from the Firelit Sky event. She is really cool and friendly! Her dialogue with Jamil was funny and sweet! It was interesting to see her bring out a different side of him. I wish we got to see her interact with Kalim as well.

How would you rank the Twisted Wonderland books/arcs?

I really like all of the books but I’d rank them as followed.

  1. Book 7 - I enjoyed seeing the full cast come together! Everyone has their moment and contributed. I also laughed and cried when playing this book.

  2. Book 5 - Kalim and Vil are my favorite characters, so of course I enjoyed this one! The VDC plot was a fun and unique take on the Snow White story.

  3. Book 4 - Kalim is my favorite character overall! I loved getting to meet that wonderful ray of sunshine!

  4. Book 6 - Idia is an entertaining character. I liked seeing the overblotters from the previous chapters work together as well.

  5. Book 1 - Riddle is an amazing and complex villain! This book got me hooked on the franchise.

  6. Book 3 - Fun book overall! Azul and the tweels were entertaining and at times infuriating villains lol

  7. Book 2 - I don‘t dislike this book but Leona’s overblot plot line didn‘t resonate with me the way the others did. I still like his character design though.
