Did Aklief cause nasolabial folds?

I've been using Aklief for a month now. It's slowly but surely helping with my acne treatment. I still have breakouts, but they're not as severe as before.

What does concern me is that it's caused quite prominent nasolabial folds that I didn't have before, and my face looks more gaunt, stretched, dry, and tired.

During the first few weeks of using it, I noticed that the nasolabial folds were very flaky, and since then, they've been somewhat red and feel like very soft skin. Makeup doesn't adhere well there. It doesn't feel irritated or anything, but I have noticed that these marks are quite visible in that area.

What can I do? Is this normal with Aklief?

I use Aklief every other day, I always wear sunscreen, and I use moisturizer morning and night after applying the Aklief, I drink plenty of water, I'm taking omega 3 and iron and magnesium supplements too, my sleep isn't the best but I still sleep well.

Can I use Aklief every day?

I've been using it every other day and it's been going well. The breakout has been a bit annoying because I've never had this bad of a breakout, even before starting the treatment. I'm worried about how long the breakout might last.

I wanted to know if I can apply the cream every day, since many sources say you can't use retinoids daily.

Love your country like your narcissistic mother

It's difficult to put it into images

I'm an immigrant from a dictatorship, and lately, I've been processing how I feel about my country. The best way to describe it right now is as if I have a narcissistic mother. I feel obligated to love her because she's my biological mother, but at the same time, I feel this ache in my heart because of all the bad things she did to me.

(Disclaimer: I love my mom, haha. It's just that I see my relationship with my country through this analogy.)

Adult romance, slow burn, cozy with age difference

The thing is... I finished watching "Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You" this weekend and I'm obsessed.

Of the few romances between TWO ADULTS I've seen in anime that felt like a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) and I loved it so much that I want to read something similar between adults—something slow-burn, gentle, and cozy, with a bit of an age gap! And above all, something that shows everyday things in life, the fragility, humanity, and mundanity of being an adult in a chaotic world where a connection can brighten your day.
