Custom fab hitch!
This car is my daily, so its duties do include hauling my bikes around when I wanna go on rides, but my problem with a hitch is how hideous it was and how it ruined the appearance of the back end of these fine cars. Solution? Know somebody who fabricates lol.
The receiver end has a square tube in it, and once it is in, it's held in by a normal hitch pin. There is also a set screw to tighten it up, and make it feel like one solid piece again. Pic #4 is before it was fully finished and powder coated, but you get the idea.
The base hitch I started with here was the torklift; I believe it's the only 2" receiver available, at least in North America.
