This morning I crossed paths with someone who was apparently sideswiped by a car on Mass Ave outside Walgreens south of Arlington Center. This was just before 9:00am. There was two ladies helping get this person cleaned up from all the blood they spilled when they went down. I asked if any other help was needed and if they were calling the police. This question was brushed off. I’m unclear on the details of why or what exactly happened and I left after just a minute.

The point is: Please report these things to APD. If you were involved, call it in. These things are not trivial. We won’t get safer roads until records of collisions, which are underreported, improve.
