I’m considering upgrading from my 2014 55” XBR850C to the Bravia 9. Not looking at OLED, just the Mini LED with IPS for viewing angle.
I have what I hope to be an easy question.
Is it necessary/highly recommended to change modes for day vs night viewing?

Reason I ask is because I don’t want to get this TV and be disappointed because I can’t just turn it on and watch it. My household wants simple. The Wife Approval Factor (WAF) is very important. Also, when we have guests I don’t want them to have to worry about it.
I sort of understand that if I watch a movie I might want to change something but it would be better not to.
So what do you Bravia 9 owners do?
