So for the Lunarbound Lunar Moth and Threshing Wheat Crow mutations, can you just obtain one that already got the mutation or do you actually have to mutate those pets with said mutation for it to count

This is an AI-free post of a "Jandel Hate" post. Remember when many people on this sub hated Jandel as both an admin abuse host and developer? Anyways the original AI one is the 50th MOST UPVOTED post EVER, so there is definitely some weight to my claim, and it isn't some Mandela Effect. I also took part in shitting on Jandel because saying I didn't is straight up lying.
anyways this isn't some kind of "call-to-action" to boycott GAG, I just thought that the post being AI really put a bad taste in my mouth. Some people really don't have the time to make a poster? It doesn't take professional software, just an idea and some passion.
(the 1% that is "AI" comes from the sign needing the background to be removed and I used Paint's built in AI erase tool. please don't burn me at the stake)
Firstly, I just want to say that the current admin abuse is FINE as is. It's fun and nice that the devs seemingly care about us now.
But I want to have a *great* admin abuse. So here's what I would do.
NEW WEATHERS + MUTATIONS/COSMETICS. Arguably one of the meat and potatoes of the admin abuse is Weather. Even if the developers make new weather, they *don't* really innovate on it. Seed Obby is based off the old Jump Pad obby. Raining Fish gives Drenched and Alien Aurora isn't really new per se. I want new admin mutations and awesome cosmetics from participating in these AAs or WWs.
Add an additional 15 minutes. The old 1 hour really made it feel dragged out (especially if NOTHING WAS HAPPENING) but the new one feels so short I was like "oh that was it? but I didn't want it to end that early D:" Just add some more time, 10 minutes is fine by me!
that's it. Literally add some more weathers and 10 minutes and I'll literally be happy. Everything else stays the same. If you had the ability to do change Admin Abuse, what would you do?

The last one was pretty successful, and I eventually had to do another one but this time I did all the other guys that were omitted because they mutated multiple at once.
I also updated the other chart since it omitted some important pets, it should be most of them now. they're on the second slide if you want to see that (new info is at the bottom)
Blue Dots indicate that the pet will require some form of sacrificial lamb to do their ability (Plant, Level, etc.)

i saw the ai one uploaded earlier on this subreddit and it lowk kind of pissed me off, so i spent 2 hours finding all the pets i could and put not only the multiplier but pet name + mutation so you can index it easier.
some ground rules though as to help you read this list easier:
this list does not include any pet that can mutate multiple fruits AT ONCE. an example would be Griffin or Corrupted Kitsune since their abilities can mutate <2 fruits at once and the Tiger since it replaces 3 mutations.
red dots mean that you have to harvest plants for them to mutate. the kodamas need zen-type to work and mandrake needs mandrakes.

The Grand Finale… of this update… is a booth container, a shovel, slapped on quests and a way to make Shelldon faster.
I can guarantee you, I DONT care about booth containers. Because the best one is the Fairy Stall, which I got from the Forever Pack. If you like it, then that’s simply your opinion.
The Shovel Skin is boring. It’s just pure red. I like red but the Campfire shovel HAS more effort put into it. Even Adrian’s tacky ”Rainbow Shovel” looks better. Add some other colors!
Quests give Tidal Tokens. Nothing unique. No reason to really do them.
Shelldon being faster should have been added during Week 2. No excuse to add it now because Hippocampus is almost rarer than Raccoons. It should have been added EARIER
The devs can do better because they have done better and I believe they can.

I feel as though it's NUTS that I've landed next to Shark Splash TWICE now. I've seen 2 Divine Chests and yet I got the trash loot. Never got a Manta Ray from Shelldon & I have 100 Coastal Eggs I am never going to open because the egg is kind of mid.
The Harvest Rewards are kind of awful (for me at least). The rewards I really care about are:
-the cosmetic crates (except for one that will NOT BE NAMED)
-safari, gourmet & flower seed packs (i never got their 0.5%)
-the 2025 summer harvest & 2026 summer harvest seeds (I didn't play much back then and I like the 2026 seeds)
I rarely get those rewards. Sure, I'll get a Gourmet seed pack or something i really want but it's after a whole hour of waiting and purposefully underperforming so I get more loot.
The Chest Conquest sometimes gives me a whole server of rare chest duds. Not even legendary. the two times I've seen a Divine, they gave me 6 packs and 10 eggs.
Those 6 packs? No Shark Splash. I'm at pack 125 or something. I usually get one by now.
10 eggs? I got plenty from Shelldon.

- For starters, Sugar Apples & Tomatoes are the best plants to use to submit to the High Tide Harvest. Pack them close together. If you have <40 Sugar Apples, tomatoes are a good filler. If you want more Sugar Apples, you can use Arctic Foxes with Griffins, Mimics and 15 second Peacock to refresh the seed-shop overnight to get some more.
- Spiders, Manta Rays & Pixies can grow your plants very quickly. Use with Mimics & Peacocks + Orchid Mantis/Cockatrice to not only grow your plants but also give your plants variants for some extra points! Use Pancake Stacks/Horseshoe Magnet nearby plants for efficiency.
- If you want more mileage out of your submissions, use Giant Ants, Lyrebirds, Cape Buffalo, Newts, Axolotls to get more plants. Place the "Statue of Achievement" cosmetic in your garden to also get 100+ backpack space and also get all the Garden Ascension upgrades for 50+ plant space.
- Preharvest your plants 5 minutes before the harvest starts to get a good head start.
- Use the Mega Harvest Mode for Team Harvest + Tokens and Normal High Tide for rewards. Since the reward turnout is best at Divine/Prismatic & most can reach that area very easily with assistance and/or a good set-up, you should not waste Mega Harvest Mode for rewards. UNLESS you do not have the pet & plant set-up required for high-point submissions (15 second Mimics, 15 second Peacocks, 3.9kg+ Spiders, Cockatrice, Lyrebird with many Summer Plants), you can use the Mega Harvest for rewards. It's a good opportunity to reach your Team Goal + LOTS OF TOKENS. With my set-up, I managed to get over 150k points over three mega harvests and finish my goal without assistance.
- You can hatch Common Eggs and then submit those to Shelldon without sacrificing worthwhile pets to him, as rarity doesn't matter.
- Use Unicycle Monkeys, Raptors, Wolfs, Kirins or Penguins to make yourself faster to get those chests first!
- Use Discord or Reddit to find teammates that you need!

Last year, for the Summer Harvest, the developers removed the Frost weather (which applies Chilled) since it was Summer... now? It's still in the game, despite it being summer!
Does this imply that the climate in Grow A Garden has changed significantly over the course of multiple in-game years? Same thing with Sandstorms and Heatwaves. Perhaps poor/unsustainable farming practices (using fossil fuels for the manufacturing of equipment, increased outtake of greenhouse gases from animals, removing topsoil) can exacerbate or cause new weathers, like Sandstorms, Acidic Rain or unnaturally hot Heatwaves.
In-fact, some studies suggest that climate change can modify conditions of tornadoes (higher likelihood or shifting locations). For a while, Grow A Garden didn't experience Tornadoes, until much later
but the most likely thing is that the devs just didn't choose to do it. but a pretty grim (yet fun headcanon) at that
