I suppose this is the proper place to ask this question. Can thermite be used to create steam for a generator?

I haven't been to New Orleans in about twenty six years but the memories are still so vivid.

I have recently read that New Orleans is sinking FAST. The article made it sound like New Orleans will be the American Atlantis in ten years. Has there been any local political movement as to how to deal with moving an entire city?

This subreddit makes me cry. I feel sad for all the people who have lost thier fur babies. It makes me remember all my old pets who have passed. Anyways, everyone take care, and enjoy your fur pals while ya got them.

I have to help my mom out and change the flapper on her toilet. It is what I can figure out, a flapper disk. There are no hooks on it and the chain attaches on the very center of it's top. I have been to two big box hard ware stores and found nothing. Will I have to go on an Indiana Jones style quest to find one of these things???
