For all my Zelda fans out there — was hyped at the news of the remake. Some baby holes I need to fill, but otherwise love this piece.
Was my first time using glass rhinestones and yall were so right… the shine compared to resin is deafening.

Seeking Project Advice | Cosplay Project
Hi! Ok so - I want to go as Sora from Kingdom Hearts for Halloween this year, BUT, I want to rhinestone the ever-loving-sh*t out of the keyblade - so I want to start soon since it'll be a hefty project.
Here's where I need your advice. I've found a few keyblades to purchase, but am not sure which would be the most rhinestone-friendly. One of them is metal, which is non-porous and imagine will be hard for the stones to grip the material. The other is made of foam, a LOT cheaper, and porous, but it bends... which I fear will cause rhinestones to go flying throughout the night. Here are the links to both:
I typically use resin rhinestones from blingeethingee as most my projects don't see the light of day to be affected by the sun... but I'm wondering if would be wise to use a different stone for a project like this. Very open to suggestions on stones, glue (I mainly use GemTac), and which blade we think may be best for this.
