Hey everyone,

I’ve always liked druids in games, especially in World of Warcraft (Horde, Tauren druid ftw). However, they always felt a bit too safe, so I built a system where druid magic has consequences if used carelessly.

In Verdant Channeler, druids draw mana from plants, but overuse leads to corruption. The more power you take, the closer you get to becoming the problem.

The story follows Leonardo, a bullied kid turned druid in a new world, trying to survive the tutorial, reach the academy, and grow stronger without losing himself, while a corrupted druid archenemy is already draining the world.

What to expect:

  • Progression fantasy (weak to strong, clear system)
  • Nature magic and life-energy manipulation
  • Tutorial, academy, missions structure
  • Corruption affecting the world, beasts, and people
  • Rivalries, growth, and tactical fights

I’d really appreciate any feedback.
