While both are incredible classics, I feel like Efil4zaggin is more focused body of work and Dre's production improved drastically with this. As Ice Cube left, MC Ren stepped up and shined.
N 4 Life, Alwayz Into Somethin', Appetite For Destruction, Real N are the standouts

I recently completed all 3 games via GTA+ that I got from pre-ordering GTA 6 and it was terrible experience. I mean they aren't at the state they were when they got released but games are still ugly, still full of bugs, texture, hit box errors, etc. It needs hundreds more patches to be playable
Also GTA trilogy Definitive removed a lot of features:
Replay function in GTA 3 and Vice City PC
San Andreas Two player multiplayer
Album gallery, in Definitive, camera is useless after collecting snapshots
Rain and blood particles on screen in Vice City
Skins in GTA 3 and Vice City
Atmosphere, while later patches did improved it, it's still not good
Top down camera view in GTA 3. It has super helpful in some instances in OG
So stop spreading the lies that GTA Defective Edition got fixed when in reality it's very far from it
Adding one or 2 songs to radio stations
That would be huge missed opportunity, not prioritizing on inside joke
