Tight canopy and wild spots. Worth the early alarm.
Traded sleep for a first light hike up the canyon before the heat rolled in. The wild trout were tucked deep under the boulders and log jams in the plunge pools. Brought a 6' and an 11' rod to handle the tight canopy and dappled shadows. Incredible morning in the high country.
