what helped you with engorgement and sore nipples?

Some moms find that taking a warm shower can help milk flow and relieve engorgement discomfort. Wearing a supportive nursing bra during the day or even at night may also help when your breasts feel full and heavy.

For sore or cracked nipples, apply a few drops of breast milk and let it air dry, natural moisturizing components that breast milk contains may help protect the skin.

Have you tried any of these tips? Did they help you? What worked best for you when dealing with engorgement or sore nipples?

iron, pregnancy constipation... tips for making it more comfortable?

Sticking to taking iron can be hard when you know it’s important, but still facing discomfort every day...

Do you have any hack to make your iron supplement process less painful?

And I’d also like to share some info I’ve found. I came across an older study looking at iron supplement tolerance during pregnancy:

It compared two different formulations of pregnancy supplements. The lower-iron formulation group reported fewer constipation complaints, although the supplements differed in more than just iron content (such as tablet size and how iron and calcium were combined).

And some will say that taking some snacks together with iron will make them feel better, and some people will say they feel better if they don't take iron in the morning, while others say they feel less uncomfortable if they take iron in the morning.

What's yours? Do you find anything helpful that can no make the constipation problems worse when taking iron? Also, if you’ve come across any helpful research, articles, or tips about iron during pregnancy, you can add in here :p

I can't believe I made a messy parenting word search and somehow forgot the most obvious word… 💩😂 But, even if I keep quiet, blowout screams poop chaos anyway😂

Ignore my rambling 😂 let's play!

what time to ask for help when babies have colds until they gets fine (quick reference summary)

Babies under 3 months,

This article mentions even just congestion or cough, call your ped. Cold can develop into some problem, and problems are often hard to tell at home.

For babies over 3 months,

This article mentions most colds will improve within 7–10 days (but cough can last longer) If your baby is breathing comfortably, eating normally, having usual wet diapers, and acting like themselves, then home care and constantly watching are usually enough.

About constantly watching, focus on four things :

(What I list below are a frame that help to remember, no a complete guide.)

breathing: if they breathe look fast, hard, or labored, seek ped care right away.

behavior: if they're unusually sleepy, difficult to wake up, or just don't seem like themselves, it's time to call your ped.

Feeding & wet diapers: eat much less than what they usually eat or have fewer wet diapers, this can be a sign of dehydration.

Time: most colds improve within 7–10 days, so if last too long or get worse, then should go to see the ped. This article tells some situations you may face when babies have a bad cold.

Constant worry and wondering can be tried and exhausting. Hope this summary can provide you with some useful information will help you figure out your next step, and help you feel a little less overwhelmed.

2nd round bingo card!

Any bingo moments this week, guys? 😉 This one's style is momcozy design style, soft pink. But I'm thinking that I actually hope to see our Bingo cards come in more different visual styles, like different color tones, different theme...This way, each card could feel like a little milestone to collect, almost like a scrapbook! What do you think?

(ps: Do these squares feel relatable to your daily life? Do you have any suggestions for activities or milestones you’d like to see in future cards?)

baby is congested at night but no fever, do you rush to the ped or monitor a few days?

At night, if baby has a stuffy nose, coughs, or seems to be breathing less smoothly but has no fever, what do you usually do? What experiences or signals do you follow to decide whether it’s time to see the pediatrician? What's your experience?

What’s your weekend bingo inspiration?😆

Our designer has finished the design! I like it so much, it is really pretty, right? And I can't wait to share it with you guys!

My idea is if you guys like it, we can update the bingo cards with new style every week in the sub, so that everyone in here can see and fill in a new style bingo card every week!

Keep it short! Would you like to fill out your own bingo card?

To play, you can just simply take a screenshot of this pic and fill this out!

Edited: Big shoutout to u/Substantial_Post8853 who first bring this idea out! We loved it so much and we made it real!
