13 Month Old Eczema

1Hi! Our 13 month old daughter has eczema behind her knees mostly/her ankles. Sometimes a few patches on her inner elbow and around the cheeks but we have been able to keep those under control. We have tried desonide, hydrocortisone, and prescription hydrocortisone as well. They all seem to clear up after 1 or 2 uses but then it comes back as red and itchy skin. We have tried tubby Todd and that didn’t seem to make a huge difference so we have now been using aveeno eczema products. If anyone has dealt with similar eczema with their kids, please share any tips or things that worked for you. A friend recommended drought secret so we will be trying that next. We keep her moisturized several times a day, she gets a water bath everyday (per allergist’s recommendation), soap bath once a week, all cotton clothing, no fragrance detergent or products. Luckily it’s not impacting her sleep or anything but she does tend to itch more when she’s in shorts or dresses vs pants.

Our daughter is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, sesame, and some legumes so we are keeping all of those completely away from her.
