

Macros -what am I doing wrong?
Been doing Animal Based for several years but I can’t figure out my macros, the math isn’t mathing.
I’m 6’2”, goal weight of 175. Current weight 188lbs but it fluctuates wildly. Current bf is 17.2%. I have a small frame, narrow wrists, low muscle mass.
Do kettlebell program 3days week for 30 minutes each focused on building muscle.
A few weeks ago I added whey protein and an extra piece of fruit because I didn’t think I was getting enough protein and calories but weigh shot up dramatically in the last 2 weeks. According to the Saladino calculator I am undereating for my goal weight but I’m still gaining weight and fat with my current macros.
Is that calculator skewed because of my low muscle mass? Like because of that do I need way less protein?
I struggle with energy in the afternoons but I can’t imagine eating another several hundred calories of fruit to get to the macros in the Saladino calculator.
Is it the dairy? Too much fat?
Much help needed.
