Hello! Beginner here. I bought some yeast for the first time recently in the hopes of trying to bake bread. But I’m overwhelmed looking at recipes. I don’t own a Dutch oven, so the no knead ones intimidate me a bit. However, I’m worried I won’t knead the dough well enough. Additionally…I’m dumb and bought a silicone bread pan. Not realizing it would impact bake time.

I have all purpose flour, salt, and everything else I need. It’s just a matter of making a plan.

I’m curious about what you guys think would be the best kind of bread to start with, for your first time?

Hello guys. I’m a new cook and have been loving finding new recipes to try out. However, I’ve been making a lot of cream-based meals recently. It seems like that’s what’s popular on social media.

I’m realizing that I think I’m fairly lactose intolerant. I eat these rich sauces and it makes me feel sick. It makes me sad because of all the work I’ve been putting in and I feel lost now trying to figure out what to try. I’m a pretty picky eater (due to sensory issues from autism) and it’s tough. But I want to keep trying new things.

I would love some recommendations, if you have any. My only requirement I would say is, no seafood except salmon.
