Hanuman Jayanthi May 12th
Dear Sādhakas,
I hope everyone is experiencing an auspicious and blessed Hanuman Jayanthi. There is truly no end to describing the importance of Hanuman for Narasimha sādhakas. Time and again, I have seen, heard, and come across many great upāsakas, both beginners and advanced practitioners, who have deeply embedded Hanuman into their nithya, naimittika, and viśeṣa sādhana traditions.
He serves as a bridge between the sādhaka and the upāsya devatā, in this context, for us, Bhagavān Narasimha. His life stands as a timeless testament to how one should conduct oneself before the Lord: with humility, servitude, devotion, and unconditional surrender (śaraṇāgati).
Hanuman himself had the darśana of Narasimha bearing the attributes of Śrī Rāma, the form revered as Karanja Narasimha. This means he beheld the very divine form that many of us aspire to experience one day through sincere sādhana and grace.
There can hardly be a greater guru and guide for a sādhaka to long for. Include him in your daily sādhana, and once again, may you all have a wonderful and blessed Hanuman Jayanthi.
Jai Veera Āñjaneya
Jai Śrī Narasimha
