I know Spitfires aren't rare but this model is if anyone collects them. Managed to cyber them and it's the first time I've seen this one up.

Originally flying in October 1944, the PL983 served with No. 4 Squadron in Europe and No. 2 Squadron in occupied Germany. Because it was designed strictly for high-altitude intelligence gathering rather than combat, it traded its weapons for speed and altitude.

Kinda sad now, got no more planes to "officially" catch 🤣

Guess it's fleets and airports now

First time I've seen this one flying and interestingly this is the last ever Hurricane ever built during the war but never saw battle due to them being phased out for the Spitfire. Nice one to add to your collection if you like WW2 stuff 👌🏻
