Why does ye fans but not Kendrick or other rappers fans get a pass when glazing?
I wouldn't mind that at all if it happened to all rappers but it feels like things stop at kanye even if everyone knows you're glazing Kanye they wouldn't say a thing.
The problem is the fans of a rapper like Kendrick for example most of the time aren't glazing they state a fact about their favorite rapper like TPAB being one of the greatest album OAT and they still get hate, or you say Eminem is one of the best rappers OAT then someone will tell "Eminem fan talking btw"
Kenny and shady have unreleased tracks?
Do you think they made more songs together but just didn't release them?
The only official song of them together is love game, they both delivered a great verse and rapping performance besides em being 10 years post his prime.
Anyways we know they have nothing towards each other but respect and love, em praised Kdot as much as pac and BIG and Kendrick always praised em when talking about him as well.
So I wonder if you think they have any tracks together, I don't care if it's a terrible song I just want to hear these two on a song.
Finally bought Encore album by Eminem, what are your thoughts on this I didn't listen to it yet?
Ever personally met someone who's excuse to hate on rap is "rap is all about bitches drugs and money and "gangsters" "
Well obviously they're incorrect, and I don't want to write 100 lines long paragraph to explain why they're wrong I'll let your knowledge do the work.
My question is simple: did you ever meet a person who used that excuse, did you argue with them, and if yes how did the conversation go.
Every time I think ye's fanbase is the worst, em fans somehow manage to prove me wrong
straight outta Compton was released 38 years ago today.
Let's all appreciate this album.
there you go and this is why I chose each one:
Favorite album:
there's no best album objectively, but subjectively The Marshall Mathers LP is my favorite, no skip, the skits were great including the ken kaniff, it's disgusting but it adds depth to the album and matches the slim shady persona.
Most played:
The storytelling of Kendrick on that album needs to be studied, going back and forth in the timeline of the story using skits/voicelines is a great use of skits, some people criticize the heavy use of skits but in my opinion it doesn't take anything from the album's quality.
First album you loved:
Everyone in their mother cousin brother sister father has that one Kanye, Eminem, or drake phase before discovering more rappers and diving deeper into the genre, so this is why MMLP is the first album I loved.
Favorite band:
I was going to go with G-unit because of how good they were, but they didn't really add much to the culture, so I figured out I'll choose a tribe called quest or Mobb deep or N.W.A, they're all great but I chose Mobb deep.
Current favorite:
I was revisiting 2014FHD and for some reason I kept replaying it, I liked it, the songs, lyricism, production were all great so it deserves a spot in the list
Personal impact:
People like to call this album corny which is true to an extent but it's still an emotional album with a lot of experiences to learn from.
Bad day cure:
Graduation by Kanye west is what I believe is his most overrated album, though that doesn't mean it's bad at all, in fact it's a great album, I love to play this when I'm angry, anxious or simply not feeling it.
Overrated:
If we're debating about who's the GOAT of rap, I'm vouching for Kendrick even though Eminem is my favorite, that being said it doesn't mean that everything he made is a top tier masterpiece, DAMN is definitely a great album and telling 2 different stories with the same tracklist, blending in politics and religion while maintaining the album's concept and goal is impressive work, but looking at the actual songs, it's not as great as people say when the album has at least 2 skips.
Underrated:
Death certificate is the second solo studio album by ice cube, I love this album and I wish people would show it more love.
Not usually my thing but:
Doggystyle is the debut album by snoop Dogg, I don't usually like snoop Dogg rapping but this particular album is undeniably an enjoyable one.
I hate it, but everyone likes it:
I don't hate stillmatic, I just don't really like it, people bump up this album and I don't understand why, could be because of people that heat one song and rate the whole album based on that.
I like it, but everyone hates it:
I rarely see people discussing this album but when I do it's always bad.
every Eminem album in my digital music collection
All of these plus "hell: the sequel" and all D12 albums (including D12 forever).
If you're wondering about the rest of my music collection it's the entire discography of: Tupac, biggie, Kanye, Kendrick, drake, Jay-Z, and other artists but not full discography
Artists I wish Eminem features on his next album
To start it off, I think the album will come out in between mid 2027 and late 2028, and the tracklist will hopefully be 15-20 and 19-24 with the expanded tracklist (not including instrumentals), with that information let's get into it:
Kendrick Lamar:
I hate that the only song they have together is love game, them going back and forth bar for bar was incredible work
Jay-Z:
Em featured jay on only 1 song, and it wasn't even an official release, however I don't think they can make a song close to renegade, not even a chance
Laurin Hill:
ye featured laurin on his last album bully, and it happened this year so it's not impossible, and Eminem has always made great duets when collaborating with female artists.
Nas:
as far as I know they only have 1 song together (or at least 1 official song), I hope they both make more songs since they are both top level lyricists
J. Cole:
they've both praised and paid homage to each other, but no songs together
these are the ones I wish to see, of course hell feature more but probably none of these, still I'd be happy if he features even only 1 of those
