Could someone help me with a name?
I’ve been trying to think of a name for a shapeshifter type character that can replicate a person’s character down to DNA and power (Like mystique and Amazo combined). The characters identity in society is Edna Teritie (Eternity is their true name.) they wear inhibitor cuffs as to not go overboard and loose themselves in the insanity that comes with their power. I’m thinking that their power/ species is named true replicant.
A backstory for them is this: A figure made of pure mass, ever shifting, burst from the void and is helped by a god to find either where the figure starts to form an identity, a purpose, and a life. But that peace is short lived with death coming to the people around them, and not them. They watch time and time again as the world moves and things pass on. They keep trying, keep believing that one day they will find someone like them. But even the universe has cruel irony. They keep hoping-from universe to universe, gaining identity but also weakness. The inhibitors they wear is not a sign of just being powerful. But being emotional and prone to lashing out in times of stress. They have killed before. They still keep going and maybe one day the gods will help them find their way back to the friends they lost.
I want an Ironic name for this character, something completely opposite of what they are supposed to be. Can anyone give me suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it.
