What are you guys expecting for the coming heatwave?

FYI, it's due to hit highs of 29-30°C across the southeast over the next week, with lows dropping down to 16-18°C each night. Personally I think it will actually be quite comfortable, and we will all kind of be "adapted" to it because we have just been through 3 consecutive days of 35°C+.

Can't wait for September xD

Comimg from southeast here. Just been through the brutal 35°C heatwave and now you are telling me after like 4 days of 25°C temperature are going to go all the way back up to 30°C again? (ECMWF even says 33). Can't wait for the 10/20°C days in Early September.

Lowered Peaks and Heat moving westwards instead? What do you guys think?

(so no image not bothered to take one)

In recent met office runs, temperature for the Southeast seems to lower a bit. And London are seeing highs of 37/38 on Wednesday instead of the extreme 40. (Which I admit is still extremely hot), but at the same time the southwest in cities such as Bristol, Gloucester, which is now seeing highs of 39,40 even 41 instead. And also Friday has also forecasted to be really hot, up to 36°C instead of the 31 we saw yesterday.

What do you guys think will happen at the end?

Predicted highest temperature? What do u guys think?

I've checked many models for the upcoming weather on Tuesday and Wednesday. Here's what I got for my local (North London) area:

UKV (Met office) - lingering between 37 and 38 on Tuesday - widespread across all of southeast

ECMWF: 38-ish on Wednesday, but basically central London only. 36 for surrounding areas.

GFS: 36 in southern London on Wednesday

Icon: 36 on Tuesday in London, 34/35 for surrounding areas

BBC weather: 35/36

Google weather (not even realible): 35

What is more likely?
