I've seen some comments on a few BTS videos asking ARMY to vote for j-hope for the Best Kpop Performers 2026 - Shining Awards and that he's in second place. Is this an award we should vote for, or is it something that doesn't matter?

I remember in 2024 there was some voting for an award and Hobi got more than 90% of the votes, but they still gave the award to someone else. I don't remember what that award show was, it probably wasn't this one, but I'd still like to know if the Shining Awards is something we should care about and vote for. Thanks for any help with this!

In 2012 j-hope featured in Jo Kwon's "Animal," writing and performing his own lyrics. He also participated in Jo Kwon's promotions and music show appearances. This song earned him his first KOMCA credit, which made him the first BTS member to have a songwriting credit under KOMCA, and it also gave him his first paycheck.

This video is the dance practice for Animal, showing Hobi's part.

This is a very insightful video about what might happen with BTS and the Grammys, and it's worth a watch. She starts talking about the issue at around the 2:37 mark if you don't want to watch her introduction.

I see that some people still think that j-hope doesn't like One More Night, but according to Hybe Boy's translation, this is what he said about it during one of his lives:

"It’s not that I don’t like it. It kind of got twisted. I do like One More Night. But I heard the guide track first, and after hearing the guide, something about it just didn’t pull me in. Personally, I just think I’m not the biggest fan of that kind of vibe in music. But once our members’ voices went in, it got this charm to it, and even I was surprised. This is a good song."

I hope this clears it up. He does not dislike the song.

‘FYA’ by BTS was featured in the opening montage for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Carolina Hurricanes and Montreal Canadians.

So cute and funny, and I love how quick Hobi is to play off the others' goofiness.

This is why the members have said that they couldn't have made it without j-hope. He plays such an important part in the group, and I really respect him for that.
