Does anyone’s local primark still have these (UK) getting divorced over them

Does anyone’s UK primark still have these, I know it’s a long shot as I first saw people posting about them in November. I’m pretty much willing to travel anywhere in the UK for them as I could do with the road trip tbh.

Basically my husband (soon to be ex) strung me along saying he was buying them/ had bought them for me but never did.. not the first time it’s happened but it will be the last time.

(Of course, the divorce comes amongst other things too but this was my final straw)

Any Chance of recouping partial deposit my gran paid for a roof (England)

In a nutshell, my Gran has paid a roofing company £500 deposit after they canvassed her door. After some conversations we had with her about why she wants a new roof (she’s in her 80s and doesn’t have any issues with her roof and has never mentioned wanting one before) she has decided to cancel the work. However, by the time she has cancelled the work, it is now outside of the 14 day period.

If this had been me paying a deposit and changing my mind I would probably just accept the loss. However I feel aggrieved for my gran by the situation as after discussing it with her, there were elements to the sale that felt a bit pressuring (although I know this is hard to prove).

I totally understand the 14day cancellation period however I have been trying to look into the consumer rights act and found Section 62 and Schedule 2 regarding disproportionate cancellation charges/unfair terms and wondered in reality if there would actually be any likelihood of reclaiming any of the deposit?
