Anyone interested in joining for Bowman-Kintla backcountry 8/1-5?
Greetings All. I won the backcountry permit lottery this year, being awarded a slot on the first day permits opened. Lucky me! I chose to do the Bowman-Kintla hike over four nights, just because I had the pick of the litter. My hiking companion just cancelled so I'd be doing the hike solo. Ideally, someone who is an experienced hiker with GNP familiarity, non-sketchy, and generally enjoyable to be around (like me). I also hike fairly fast. I have (4) permits so a single person, couple, or someone willing to share a tent with a friend would work as two tents are permitted.
Here's my itinerary:
8/1 Bowman (BOW)
8/2 Hole in the Wall (HOL)
8/3 Boulder Pass (BOU)
8/4 Upper Kintla Lake (UPK)
8/5 exit Kintla
