Clause in settlement agreement

Hi all.

I've been offered a settlement agreement by my employer and there is one clause I'm concerned about.

It states that, at the date of signing, I warrant that I am not employed elsewhere, am not negotiating another role, and have not received or accepted another job offer.

I have accepted a future job offer that doesn't start until after my employment with my current employer will end.

Is this type of clause standard boilerplate in settlement agreements? If it doesn't reflect my circumstances, is it something that is commonly amended or removed during the negotiation process, or is it usually left as-is?

I'm taking independent legal advice, but I was interested to hear whether HR professionals see this clause changed in practice.

Thanks.

I rejected a PIP extension - HR/Partner call scheduled?

EDIT: I worded the title wrong, I didnt explicitly say i reject the RPP. I said I don't think its productive to continue. I hope that puts an end to the comments that mention summary dismissal :)

I'm an apprentice at a large audit firm. I was put on a PIP following a low performance rating. During the process I met the majority of objectives, but the final week had some weaker feedback. At the conclusion meeting they adjourned and came back the following week to say they were extending the plan by a further 2 weeks.

I've since secured a new role starting in September and have a 3 month notice period.

I sent an email to my managers and HR saying I didn't think extending the plan would be productive or change the outcome, and that I'd be open to them concluding the process now or discussing an agreed exit. Shortly after, a call has been booked with HR and a partner from my department to discuss my options (a partner i have never spoken to)

My question: What can I realistically expect from this call, and what's the best way to approach it?
