I’ve had functional dyspepsia for 5 years and also have had chronic gastritis during this. I’ve lost 40lbs and haven’t found anything that has made a noticeable difference outside of mirtazipone. I’ve tried ppis (which helped a little) carafate,amitriptyline(which used to help but doesn’t anymore), gabapentin, Domperidone, and a couple more over the years. I have basically tried everything. But I haven’t tried Buspar yet and wondered if has made a decent difference for anyone here. Thank you

I have had severe FD for almost 5 years I’ve lost 40lbs and I’ve tried almost every medication used for this. I’ve been on ppis , amitriptyline, gabapentin, stomach coaters. The only med that has made a modest improvement is mirtazipine. So I’m wondering if Buspar has worked for anyone else ? Thanks
