From a history perspective what World Cup match ups would you be most excited for?

Was so happy to see England and Norway fall into place to re-live all the Viking conquest history.

England and France is always a classic though the players at this point don’t really strike me as giving a shit about the ancient rivalry at this point.

France Morrocco has some interesting tensions with the rif war and its colonial past.

Real shame Israel doesn’t qualify, would have been amazing to see them play Iran in the midst of a war.

Anyone else impressed with how progressive the Romans were about adoption?

I feel like Tom just kind of glossed over that the romans took adoption as serious as the bloodline. Imagine all the trouble Henry VIII could have avoided if he could have just picked the biggest swinging rake in the kingdom to carry on his line?
