worst concert experience i've ever had
I went to the LANY concert in Atlanta and honestly I don’t know if I even want to go to another LANY concert after this experience.
I didn’t get VIP, but I paid like $70 extra for fast pass. I got there pretty early, was close in line, and somehow managed to get barricade. There was enough space between these two girls for at least two people, and I was by myself anyway, so I stood there.
Almost immediately the girl next to me started acting weird about it. She had FOUR bags spread across the barricade “saving space” for herself. For the next two hours before LANY came out, she kept shoving me, stepping on me, digging her heels into my thigh, and literally trying to push/grind me out of the spot with her body. At one point she even reached over me to grab the girl on the other side and tried pushing me out together with her.
Meanwhile I’m literally just standing there talking to people around me because we were all waiting forever. Then she starts talking shit about me out loud saying I was making everyone uncomfortable and “squeezing people” when I genuinely was not. Her own friend eventually told her to let it go and stop being a bitch.
The whole night I just got stared at, shoved around, and treated like I didn’t belong there. I’m not exaggerating either. I’ve never had an experience like that at any event before.
Not saying all LANY fans are like this, just so happened to be my first time in the US, (i'm an international student), don't know if I ever want to do this again.
