Xdeep zen will damage your weitsuit

I love xdeep zen ultralight… perfect trim position. Perfect at the surface, light… I love it. But it’s also my first wing.

However there is one frustrating flaw which damages your wetsuit. some YouTubers flagged it but xdeep never fixed. On the right strap the Velcro that holds the strap and the pad together is on the outside which scratches the wetsuit.

Safetywings refunds might cost your extra money to receive!

I have been a customer of Safetywings for 2 years and just renewed for another year on the Remote Health Premium plan for me and my family.

Our bank account has always been in EU but we are based in South East Asia.

Few weeks ago we checked our bank account and saw multiple 20€ Swift fees due to a wire from Safetywings. They started using Swift instead of Sepa to refund us.

We talked to their customer service which is probably one of the worst... I'm still wondering if they are humans or cheap bots as their answers are usually irrelevant, partial or just factually incorrect (even regarding their own offering). But that's another topic.

They provided 0 information on why they changed their way of refunding us.

So be careful, you might be charged 20€ by your bank to receive refunds from Safetywings because someone in their Finance team decided to change the payment method without caring about the financial impact on their customer.

Feedback of Northwest experience

I've been doing research for 2 weeks on forming an LLC as a non US resident. There is so much fake reviews and recommendations on Reddit, blogs and youtube because of their referral system.

I just purchased virtual office and LLC formation and believe me, if you start this road it will be frustration over frustration

- The formation flow is not streamlined: adding a virtual office cannot be done at the same time you form the LLC. I could find the addon anymore. So you have to first purchase the virtual office then come back and purchase the LLC forming. But now, as you already have an account from the virtual office, it will be yet another funnel.
- Be careful the virtual office is exactly the same address as the agent with just a suite number. Which very probably means it will be flagged by the bank. From their marketing I thought their address would be different.
- Hidden fees: when you start the formation for wyoming it gives a price of 142$ and says state processing time 3 days. just before paying it will tell you that there is an additional 4 days of processing time unless you pay 150$... Bizee announces from the beginning of the fees for an expedited processing.
- Dashboard: very buggy, long loading time, often needs to refresh, forms cannot submit because of random errors, then suddenly work. It's a mess.

I thought I was paying for peace of mind...

Fortunately I'm not paying for their EIN service, too expensive and it might just be worse than doing it myself

I'll update here if I manage to get the bank account opened with this virtual address.

Disappointed by Malaysia International Dive Expo (MIDE) 2026

I was expecting so much but ended up very disappointed. Not by the organization itself but by the companies there.

There were not many products that you could not easily find in a normal dive shop or online. The discounts were also underwhelming: usually around 5–10% maximum, which feels ridiculous for an expo. In many cases, products were actually more expensive than what you can find on Shopee.

My biggest issue is that many sellers did not seem to be there to properly advise customers, but simply to push products. For example, I spent time with Aquacam explaining that I wanted to mount my Insta360 Ace Pro on a diving tray. In the end, I was sold a light that was too big, a floater that was too big, and not even the correct adapter needed to mount my action camera properly.

The products were also much more expensive than similar alternatives online. For example, a tray was sold for around RM350, while a very similar one can be found on Shopee for around RM150.

I came back home with unnecessary products that were not suited to my use case. What made it worse is that some sellers did not seem to fully master the products they were selling. The answers were approximate, and the focus felt more like closing a sale than helping divers choose the right equipment.

... or maybe I was just too naive.
