Indescribable experience reading this book for the first time
Silence, shame, longing, alienation; all the things modern culture is constantly trying to flatten into irony or content. Truly a beautiful film. We’re supposed to feel things. Happy Sunday ❤️
First recommendation I’ve taken from this sub, and it did not disappoint. I can’t stop thinking about it… posting one of my favorite passages. I don’t know where to go from here. Started Fat City but I can’t get my mind off of this book.
