Choice between nomos 38 date atlantik and nomos 36 atlantik
I'm really torn between these two watches. My wrist is around 6.3 inches, and the Tissot Le Locle wears quite comfortably on me — maybe even slightly on the larger side.
From what I've read, the specs of the 38 Date Atlantik suggest that the only noticeable size difference is the lug-to-lug measurement, and even that is only about 0.5 mm. The official Nomos website also shows it on models with wrists similar to mine, so perhaps it's simply meant to wear a little larger due to the nature of the design.
At the same time, the 36 mm version is very appealing because of its symmetry and proportions. My concern is whether going with the smaller size would make it lose some of the character and presence that define the watch.
Another factor is that the 38 mm feels more technically interesting in terms of the movement and its uniqueness, especially since the 36 mm version has already been around for quite some time.
Unfortunately, I can't try either of them on. There’s only one authorized dealer near me, and they don’t currently have either model available. So, aside from asking OpenAI, I’d really appreciate your thoughts and advice.
