I know a lot of Shantae fans will disagree with me on this, but I feel like Half Genie Hero is the most underrated Shantae game in the whole series. I get why a lot of people aren’t a fan of it, but at the same time it really doesn’t deserve the hate it’s gotten by many Shantae fans (same thing goes with Seven Sirens). HGH deserves more love in my opinion, and I love its art-style a LOT more than Pirate’s Curse’s art-style (I’m not saying PC’s art-style is bad, but it’s just really annoying how many Shantae fans demand WayForward to keep it as Shantae’s “permanent art-style”).
