I appreciate any input! I am traveling to South America in a few weeks, with a short stop (3 days) in Argentina. I am wondering if I should get Pesos beforehand, hit the ATM when I get there, or just use my card.

I also see that some people just use US dollars for things like tips and street vendors. Is that true? Is that a better option?

Also, I know the currency is a little crazy there. What bill denominations are most useful?
