Just recently got my MEng in mechanical engineering , my masters thesis was in the cooling of a micro reactor and got a job offer as an energy engineer but my dream has always been to work at a nuclear power plant , how can I use this job as a stepping stone to maybe get a gig at a power plant , also got an offer a few months ago to work as a labourer at pSeg but didn’t pass the background check due to me not having a driver’s license. Just a thinking and don’t want to lose my technical skills and be doing energy auditing task and data analysis etc. just want some advice and ideas.

I went to MEPS last week and I was DQ’d for a potential glaucoma on my record last year when I went for a stye on my eye so went to the ophthalmologist and she said I do not have glaucoma and did all the test which I passed all of them and she said my vision was absolutely perfect
Also I was DQ’d because the doctor said I have grey rings called (arcus sinilis) in my eyes she said potential cardiovascular issue , so went to cardiologist aswell and he did all the checks and said I was in perfect condition and I do not have arcus sinilis, the ophthalmologist also said they grey in my eyes is natural just appears in certain dark skin individuals but that everything was on with my heart and vision , so basically the doctor at MEPS misdiagnosed me with arcus sinilis and ophthalmologist and cardiologist said my eyes and heart were in perfect condition and I am fully fit for military service with no medical conditions.
So now that this was on my record am just scared I might not get the waiver or have DQ taken out because I do not have any of these issues at all and I scored a 78 on my ASVAB.
