This NGO has a number of vehicles that they park on the streets in Table Mesa some of which are pretty run down, or have out of date registration, and often full of what looks like trash. I’ve gone to their website which is completely unhelpful regarding who they are and what their mission might be. Anyone have info on who these folks are and what services they provide to maintain their tax free status?

Heads up to all out there, I just read on Watch Duty that the Willow fire has resulted in closure of all trails in the Turquoise Lake area including sections of the CT in that area. It’s a rapidly developing fire so be careful out there and keep an eye out for closure areas.

I know it’s early but looking at the SNOTEL sites the range appears to be close to a month earlier than average for melt off. So, has anyone hiked through the Collegiate Peaks West, from Cottonwood Pass to Monarch Pass, yet? I’m planning to do it in 2 weeks and hoping to hear how much snow is still in the high passes and on the north slopes. Thanks for any recent beta!
