Grasshopper 725DT
’m considering buying a Grasshopper 725DT with a 72” deck. I currently have 2 Kubota zero turn mowers and ever since I learned about the front mount Grasshopper mowers, I’ve been very interested in getting one. However, I’ve got a few questions I’m hoping this group can provide some real world answers to.
How does the cut look with the Grasshopper diesel mowers? I’m asking because I have 2 Kubota mowers - a Z726 (gas) and a ZD1211 (diesel). Both are 60” decks but the cut quality is significantly superior with the gas mower. How’s the cut quality with the 725DT?
How much better is the premier suspension seat? I’m hearing the grasshopper ride is smoother due to the front mount deck, so does the suspension seat make that much of a difference?
how critical is the hydraulic deck lift option? With my Kubotas, I use the deck lift to cross over driveways, etc. but not much else. However, I do like the idea of the control being on the steering arm and that it also disengages the blades.
