Just finished SG-1

Just amazing

I thought the ending was fantastic, I can't believe it's already over. Here I was a few months ago thinking I'd never end up finishing it and now it's over

Still have Atlantis and the other series to watch but SG-1 has to be one of the greatest TV shows I've ever seen

I wish I could just keep going, stick with the SG-1 guys, I hope they make apparences in Atlantis

Can't wait to re-watch this in 20-30 years and experience it again

I could easily write paragraph after paragraph about the stuff I loved about this show but I think it'd be a bit too much!

(I have started watching Atlantis already, watched it in parallel with SG-1)

(I'm super duper excited to universe)

Fedora > Windows

I just got another Windows laptop to install Fedora on

Is it just me or does Fedora and like Linux in general, just feel smoother? I initially thought it was a placebo but every time I get the live desktop to install Linux it just feels so smooth instantly, like a lot smoother than Windows was

Also, side note, I had a USB stick with Fedora Mobile, I opened the live desktop from the stick, started Fedora Media Write and wrote Fedora Plasma Desktop over Fedora Mobile on the USB stick and it worked fine, I thought it would've caused problems but no, it's fine, installing Fedora Plasma Desktop now

MCON vs my old android controller

I just got an MCON last week and it's great, this is my old 8bitdo controller with a modified phone holder that I jankily put magsafe style magnets on

The MCON is a bit wider and definitely more expensive but it's so much more comfortable to use, even when positioning my phone directly above the old controller it was still kinda hard to use, the handles of the MCON are amazing for this, makes it so much more comfortable to use

Also I can fit the MCON in my pocket. Because of all the corners and stuff of the phone holder the old one doesn't really go into my pocket especially not attached to my phone

The 8bitdo controller is definitely still an amazing controller especially for Mario kart style games with friends, but for my phone and as one of my regular carry controllers I'm definitely switching to the MCON

Being able to use it in Linux, Windows and Switch is fantastic too, I'll be able to use it when playing with friends on their Switch instead of their spare single joy con

Help! Forgot a bunch of stuff and wanna get back into SG-1 and Atlantis

I'm on SG-1 season 9 Episode 11 and Atlantis season 2 episode 9, I haven't watched in ages because I moved somewhere with really really bad WiFi and couldn't stream it anymore and lost interest, now I have my own flat with my own proper WiFi

I really love this show and I'd like to get back into it and finish watching but I have no idea what's going on, half the words they're saying don't make sense and half the people I can't remember

If someone could get me up to speed on the major bad guys in play and recent histories on the main characters and stuff that'd be insanely appreciated

I remember most of the pre ascended Daniel stuff and most of the ascended Daniel stuff but after it gets really fuzzy

A big one I feel like I should know is the Ori, also the guy walking with Daniel at the start of s9e11, and is Jack still in it? I don't know the general either, I feel like I've forgotten a large majority of relevant stuff
