So far, so good! The wooden gears are working great. Pretty impressive how they’re able to drive all of these movements with just two motors.

I have some credit at Michaels and was considering picking up one or two of these Rolife kits while they’re on sale. I’m mostly looking for actual book nooks at this point. Of these six, does anyone have recommendations based on your own builds?

Only 83 pages to go...how are you all getting the wax inbetween the gear teeth? I had a leftover wax bar from another kit I tried to shave down with limited success.

What an awesome booknook. I wasn't sold on it at first from the pictures but I love it now that it is done! The last problem I had was the "glass" causing my vines to act like static on a 🎈 with long hair...always something Any tips for static reduction if I have a glass cage again? Plus one bonus 🐈 photo in progress 😉

Well I ended up snagging the Anavrin Cats Crossing kit and it was definitely a little overwhelming when I opened it. 😅 I am coming from mostly Rolife kits. This was my first time doing the fake grass so I wanted to see if you all had any tips or tricks. I think it turned out decent, but I noticed the box seemed to have it a little more just in the grooves. I think I like the extra "overgrowth" but will see how it all looks at the end.

Kit delivered today, started a bit late, but finally got to a stopping point...it's only 4 am here 😴. So far I love the look and the quality. I didn't realize it was HP themed just a bit. Minor spoiler:>!There's even a sneaky little newspaper 📰 sticker with something Sirius on it.!<
