10 month update!

Just wanted to make a quick post, that I am incredibly proud of what I've been able to do post diagnosis. Spent 2 days doing a clutch on the street on my car in 30c+ heat, ran around all day with my sister, driving her around and sight seeing the day after (with a quick 4hr shift finishing my clutch job), then spent my 27th Birthday driving for 5 hours, walking 6 miles and spending 1.5hrs on the London Underground in 38c heat all within 4 days, Monday-Thursday. Absolutely shattered now, resting heart rate is going up and HRV is down so a day horizonal is much needed but I don't know how I've managed it but wanted to share some positivity :D I have T1D too, that has been wrecked even more so by all this but I'll get it back on track.

Was I experiencing low symptoms?

I'm a shift worker, and my sleep pattern is offset so I wake up later in the day. I was up early this morning on about 3hrs sleep as I was restless, and we're experiencing a heatwave in the UK at the moment so very humid at night, no AC, and very warm in my upstairs apartment (24c inside rn, 16c outside). I got home from work around midnight the night before, I was experiencing a hypo that wouldn't come up (I have t1d) and was very shaky, wobbly & confused so I gave myself an extra 5mg at 00:00. A double edged sword as I couldn't even sleep come 4am, woke up at 5 when I did, then up at 8:30. Anyways, early hospital appointment. Had my 10mg etc, had a wash and went out for my appointment. Got home, and decided to nap however I was woke up 1.5hrs later by a phone call which I had to decline because I was soaked in sweat from head to tail and was wobbly as hell, 8:30 I had 10mg, come 5hrs later I didn't feel good, is this the heat getting to me a bit? Usually I'm fine up to 6hrs between doses, especially when napping/resting but that's the upper limit for me.

After that, I took 5mg and drank some fluids, ate some carbs and protein and was good after 20 minutes (and returned the phone call)
