I get why some Monsters like Kulu and Tzitzi were re-classified from Bird Wyverns to Theropods to form a more cohesive group, but why are all of them classified as Beasts?

Was that an oversight or world building?

So far, I run Wyverns as a distinctly different branch of life from animals and spells that target beasts can’t be cast on Wyverns. How do you guys handle this?

Speaking of oversights: The introduction of Kulu-Ya-Ku references Velocidromes as “raptorial Bird Wyverns” (p554). Which kinda adds to the Beasts VS Theropods VS Bird Wyverns classification mess.
