I have a bunch of old zip disks I want to pull data off of. The problem is that old and aging drives are not reliable. And every drive I find has the same click of death that all zip drives were known for. The last drive I found connected to the USB port. It turned on read 1 disk then died. The disks are fine. Is there a modern alternative device I can use? Or do I need a to find a old working drive?
