Tesmart DKS403-M24 and Nvidia 4080 - randomly video when switching back to it

Ive bought this KVM because of the 144Hz support and the 3 monitors it can switch.
One thing I have not figured out yet is why in random cases, there is absolutely none of the screens working when switching to my workstation with the Nvidia 4080 card on win 11. I have to power cycle the KVM to get a signal again. No problem on my mac or other devices.

Is there any trick to it ? Does that happen with other KVMs as well ?

openclaw performance differences because of Hardware power ?

I’ve noticed that openclaw-gateway on my headless Ubuntu 22.04 box sometimes fully eats one CPU core while running local tasks. The CPU load seems correlated with how long I wait for responses.

The host is an HP Elite Mini 800 G9 with an i5-12500, so not exactly ancient or tiny. I’m not running local LLM inference on this box — OpenClaw is connected to remote providers like OpenAI Codex/OpenRouter. The local workload is mostly orchestration: different bots checking news, temperature data, alerts, etc.

Has anyone else seen openclaw-gateway become effectively single-core-bound during local orchestration/tooling work?

I’m wondering whether OpenClaw benefits noticeably from higher single-thread performance, e.g. moving from an i5-12500 to something like a newer i7/Ryzen 7, or even an Apple Silicon Mac mini. Apple’s single-core numbers look strong, but the different architecture makes me unsure how well that translates for OpenClaw/Gateway workloads.

I’m mostly interested in real-world experience:

  • Did a faster single-core CPU make OpenClaw feel smoother?
  • Was the bottleneck actually CPU, or more related to plugins, browser automation, session/context size, filesystem I/O, or provider latency?
  • Any useful profiling/debugging commands for checking whether the Gateway event loop is blocked?

Trying to understand whether this is a hardware limitation, a config/plugin issue, or just normal Gateway behavior before I throw money at it.

Servus zusammen,

ich wollte mal mein aktuelles Home Assistant Dashboard für mein Growzelt zeigen.
Ist noch nicht „fertig fertig“, aber mittlerweile so weit, dass ich es selbst jeden Tag nutze.

Die Idee war am Anfang eigentlich nur:
Ich will nicht ständig zwischen AC Infinity App, einzelnen Sensorwerten, Kameras und irgendwelchen Notizen hin und her springen.

Inzwischen sammle ich Daten aus mehreren Quellen und versuche daraus ein etwas sinnvolleres Gesamtbild zu bauen:

  • AC Infinity Daten wie Temperatur, Luftfeuchte, VPD, Lüfter/Ports
  • Raspberry Pi Sensoren im Zelt
  • mehrere Ebenen im Zelt: unter dem Canopy, oben im Zelt, Lampenbereich
  • PPFD / DLI Werte
  • VOC Index
  • Statuschecks, ob Sensoren frisch sind oder irgendwas hängt
  • Live-Kamerabilder vom Zelt

Oben im Dashboard habe ich mir ein paar Grow-Eckdaten eingebaut, zum Beispiel Startdatum, Blütebeginn, Blütetage und aktuelle DLI.
Ich wollte das so haben, dass ich auf dem Tablet einmal draufschaue und direkt sehe: Klima okay? Licht okay? Sensoren aktuell? Pflanze sieht gut aus?

Besonders spannend finde ich den Vergleich zwischen den verschiedenen Sensorpositionen. Die Werte im Lampenbereich sind natürlich deutlich anders als direkt am Canopy, und genau das sieht man in der AC Infinity App allein nicht so schön.

Ist alles noch ziemlich Bastelprojekt, aber genau das macht irgendwie Spaß.
Als nächstes will ich das Layout noch sauberer machen und wahrscheinlich mehr Automationen einbauen, z.B. Warnungen bei stale Sensor-Daten oder wenn VPD/Temperatur zu lange aus dem Zielbereich laufen.

Falls jemand ähnliche Dashboards gebaut hat: immer her mit Ideen.
Mich würde vor allem interessieren, wie ihr mehrere Sensorquellen sinnvoll zusammenfasst, ohne dass das Dashboard irgendwann wie ein Flugzeugcockpit auf Koffein aussieht.
