If you’re playing on the switch just the out of menu save isn’t enough. You have to create loadpoints or close game and save or it can all disappear. First time playing OOT, I was about to fight the boss of the water temple so I’m figuring half to 2/3 of the game complete. Switch said something happened and it needed to shut down. Opened the game back up and my game had not saved at all. Started me over at the very beginning. I’m furious about it really, being my first time playing it. Anyway, shit happens and all that. Was just hoping to save someone else from the same situation.
