Another "is this real?" post to add to this sub.

Picked this up at a reputable antiques centre in the UK for a great price, which has led me to question its authenticity. I'm hoping someone who knows a little more could verify if this is a genuine piece.

Some photos under direct sunlight (it looks pretty much black.) Others are illuminated with torch light from behind. Last 2 are for size reference. Let me know if clearer photos are required.
