Applying Indian ink to a satin or dry crackle glaze?

Does anybody have advice on highlighting crackle lines in a satin matte or dry crackle glaze. Unlike a gloss crackle the ink doesn’t wipe off the surface easily as it does on a gloss glaze? If I wipe while still very wet the excess ink comes away, but so does most of the ink in the cracks (these are very fine cracks in a thinly applied glaze). If I leave to dry a little the excess ink then doesn’t wipe off totally and looks ugly. Any ideas or advice appreciated.

Does anyone have a metallic glaze recipe firing at cone 6 (oxidation) in an electric kiln? I need to be able to spray it, and the metallic sheen to work with only a thin coating (i.e. not need to rely on multiple coats to bring out the metallic effect). I maybe asking the impossible… but I am asking anyway. Thanks! (images would be very helpful).
