Wrong phone delivered for launch — Google sent base Pixel 11 instead of 11 Pro XL

Was super hyped when UPS showed up a day ahead of launch with my order.

Opened the box: Watch 5 is there, but instead of the Pixel 11 Pro XL (Obsidian, 256GB) on my invoice, Google packed a standard Pixel 11. 🤦‍♂️

Contacted Google Store support right away with photos of the sealed box and barcodes. Got the classic "escalating to product specialists, expect an update in 24–48 hours" response.

So much for pre-ordering day one to have it in hand for launch.

Anyone else get a warehouse mix-up this year?
How fast did Google sort out an advance replacement for you?
Any compensation? Because nothing so far.
